FOR INDIAN STEEL & ALUMINIUM EXPORTERS TO THE EU

Your steel, priced on its real emissions. Not on EU default values.

Ferrologic Analytics captures production emissions straight from your weighbridge and power meters, and turns them into the verified data your EU buyers need — before they price your shipment on Brussels' assumptions.

READ-ONLY AT YOUR GATE

Docker-based capture that never writes to plant systems.

BUILT FOR VERIFICATION

A number built from locked measurements can defend itself; a retyped spreadsheet cannot.

Live weighbridge feed, Scope 1 & 2 intensity per ton, one-click registry-ready export.

WHAT IS EU CBAM?

The EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism

An EU regulation that prices the carbon emissions of imported goods, including iron, steel and aluminium.

THE EU IMPORTER

Files declarations in the CBAM registry. The legal obligation and all penalties sit on the EU importer.

YOUR PLANT

May voluntarily upload verified emissions data to the registry for importers to use instead of default values.

WHAT IT PRICES

Embedded emissions: the greenhouse gases caused by making the goods.

WHEN DATA IS MISSING

When an importer cannot present actual, verified emissions data, the EU applies default values plus a mark-up: 10% in 2026, 20% in 2027, 30% from 2028.

Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2621

WHAT IS A WEIGHBRIDGE?

The truck scale at your factory gate.

It weighs the material coming into and leaving your plant. This platform connects to it and reads those weights.

FOLLOW ONE LOAD

One load, gate to registry

At the gate

The load crosses your weighbridge. The reading is locked at the instrument — OIML R-76.

In the engine

The platform computes that load's Scope 1 & 2 intensity per ton. Nobody retypes anything.

On your buyer's desk

Your EU buyer files your verified number instead of the default.

THE DEFAULT-VALUE RAMP

What changed on 1 January 2026

+10%

The mark-up added to default emission values in 2026. Rises to 20% in 2027.

Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2621

+30%

The mark-up from 2028. Unverified data gets more expensive every year.

Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2621

5%

The materiality threshold your emissions data must survive at verification.

Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2546, Art. 5(1)

When your buyer cannot file verified actuals, the EU assigns your country's average emissions plus the mark-up — and that cost lands on their invoice, then on your negotiation.

Default values vs. your actuals

WITHOUT VERIFIED DATA

Your buyer files EU default values: India's average emission intensity for your product route, plus the annual mark-up. Your steel carries a competitor-average carbon bill, however clean your plant runs.

WITH WEIGHBRIDGE ACTUALS

Your buyer files your measured Scope 1 & 2 intensity, calculated from calibrated instruments at your gate. Your number, defensible at verification — not an assumption.

How it works

  1. Connect.

Read-only, Docker-based integration at your weighbridge and power meters. It ingests readings; it never writes to plant systems.

  2. Compute.

Scope 1 & 2 carbon intensity per ton of metal, classified by HSN/CN code, calculated continuously — no operator enters anything.

  3. Report.

Audit-ready CBAM reports and registry-ready data exports your EU buyer can use instead of defaults.

The pipeline

IN

  • Weighbridge readings (OIML R-76 calibration lock)
  • Power meter telemetry
  • No manual entry

ENGINE

  • Scope 1 & 2 intensity per ton
  • HSN/CN tariff classification (7308 structural steel, 7318 fasteners, 7604 aluminium profiles)
  • Continuous calculation

OUT

  • Audit-ready CBAM report
  • Registry-ready data export
  • Executive compliance dashboard

Why spreadsheets keep failing

  1. Manual spreadsheets

No calibration lock, human error, and a 5% materiality threshold waiting at verification.

  2. Consultants

Recurring advisory fees for numbers that still start from manual data entry.

  3. Generic ESG platforms

Built for corporate reporting, not for a weighbridge at a smelter gate.

The data your buyer needs already exists — your weighbridge weighs every load. Ferrologic Analytics just refuses to let it be retyped.

WHAT INTEGRATION LOOKS LIKE

The integration path

  1. Survey

    Weighbridge model, meters, network.

  2. Install

An isolated, read-only Docker container at the plant edge.

  3. Verify

Feeds stream in; the calibration lock is checked end to end.

  4. Report

The first audit-ready CBAM report generates from live readings.

  5. File

Your buyer receives a registry-ready export.

No step asks an operator to type a number.

Built in India, built for how Indian plants run

Secondary steel smelters and aluminium extruders do not run on clean ERP exports. They run on weighbridges, power meters and shift registers. That is the world this platform is built for.
